FRIDAY FOR MUCH OF WESTERN WYOMING...
...SIGNIFICANT SNOW ALSO POSSIBLE IN THE NORTHERN BIGHORN
MOUNTAINS LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY...

.A WARM FRONT WILL BRING AMPLE AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE ACROSS WESTERN
WYOMING WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. THIS WILL RESULT IN STEADY SNOWFALL
THROUGH FRIDAY...BEFORE AN ARCTIC FRONT MOVES OVER NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL PORTIONS ON FRIDAY. PERIODS OF HEAVY WET SNOW WILL FALL
IN THE MOUNTAINS...ESPECIALLY THE TETONS. STRONG WINDS WILL ALSO
LEAD TO SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS
WITH SEVERELY REDUCED VISIBILITIES AT TIMES. SIGNIFICANT SNOW
ALONG THE ARCTIC COLD FRONT AND APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM MAY ALSO
PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT SNOW IN THE NORTHERN BIGHORN MOUNTAINS.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF SNOW WILL OCCUR FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
  THROUGH FRIDAY. LIGHT PERSISTENT SNOW WILL OCCUR IN THE STAR
  VALLEY THROUGH THE EVENT. MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL BE
  POSSIBLE IN THE MOUNTAINS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY NIGHT.
  SNOWFALL WILL QUICKLY END SATURDAY MORNING BEHIND AN ARCTIC
  FRONT.

* TOTAL SNOWFALL...6 TO 9 INCHES IN THE STAR VALLEY. 1 TO 2 FEET
  POSSIBLE IN THE SALT AND WYOMING RANGES.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...THE WIND WILL BE INCREASING THURSDAY.
  EXPECT A WEST TO SOUTHWEST WIND OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
  45 MPH IN THE HIGH COUNTRY. IN THE VALLEY...A SOUTH WIND OF 15
  TO 20 MPH WILL BE COMMON. THIS WILL RESULT IN BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING SNOW...ALONG WITH LOWERED VISIBILITY DOWN TO ONE
  QUARTER OF A MILE AT TIMES. SALT RIVER PASS WILL BE IMPACTED
  BY THESE CONDITIONS.

* IMPACTS...ROADS MAY BECOME SLICK AND SNOW PACKED WITH LIMITED
  VISIBILITY AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY OVER THE SALT RIVER PASS.
  PEOPLE PLANNING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR
  ADVERSE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS AND TAKE THE PROPER
  PRECAUTIONS.
