...A MAJOR WINTER STORM WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT WESTERN AND PARTS
OF CENTRAL WYOMING THROUGH THIS EVENING...

.AMPLE MOISTURE AND AN ARCTIC FRONT WILL COMBINE TO BRING SNOW...
HEAVY AT TIMES ALONG WITH GUSTY WINDS THAT WILL RESULT IN BLOWING
SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED
ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILL AREAS.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* TIMING...COLDER AIR IS SLOWLY WORKING BACK INTO THE STAR VALLEY
  AND REMAINING RAIN AREAS WILL LIKELY CHANGE TO ALL SNOW AGAIN
  TODAY WHILE OTHER HIGHER LOCATIONS SEE HEAVY SNOW AT TIMES.

* TOTAL SNOWFALL...6 TO 8 INCHES WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS OF 12 TO 18
  INCHES IN AND NEAR THE FOOTHILLS. THE HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE
  ON THE NORTH END OF THE VALLEY.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...SOUTH 15 TO 25 MPH AND GUSTY AT TIMES.
  THIS WILL RESULT IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH VISIBILITY
  DOWN TO ONE QUARTER OF A MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...ROADS MAY BECOME SLICK AND SNOW PACKED WITH LIMITED
  VISIBILITY AT TIMES. PEOPLE PLANNING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SHOULD
  BE PREPARED FOR ADVERSE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS AND TAKE THE
  PROPER PRECAUTIONS.
