Old Faithful Saturday morning |
It will be a White Christmas weekend across all of Western Wyoming. However
the most intense portion of the current storm will be
passing to the south and east of Western Wyoming. Thus winds will not be
a particular concern and the snow should remain generally on the light
side. Roads will become snow packed expect for below about 6000 feet where
temperatures near freezing today will allow for some melting, on
more traveled highways until later tonight when colder air will move in.
The following Special Weather Statement from Riverton Forecast Office sums
up the weekend weather.
