Major Snow to Affect Star Valley Monday

While several inches of new snow have fallen across Star  Valley over the weekend, Monday will see a vigorous storm cross the area and it will be accompanied by anywhere from 6-12 inches of new snow in the valley and upwards to two feet over the mountains.  In addition very strong winds will result in hazardous winter weather driving condition, particularly over the mountain passes.

Riverton Forecast Office has posted a Winter Storm Warning into Monday night for the far western portions of Wyoming, including all of Lincoln County.  Following is a link to a comprehensive statement issued from the Riverton Forecast Office this Sunday evening covering the expected conditions.
