THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
SATURDAY EVENING.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF SNOW WILL BEGIN AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON AND
  CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED
  LATER TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING.

* TOTAL SNOWFALL...5 TO 9 INCHES.

* MAIN IMPACT...ROADS AND HIGHWAYS WILL BE SLICK AND SNOW PACKED
  AND TRAVEL COULD BE DIFFICULT AT TIMES. VISIBILITY COULD BE
  REDUCED TO UNDER ONE QUARTER MILE IN SNOW.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
5 PM MST SATURDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN POCATELLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS, WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 5 PM MST SATURDAY. THE WINTER STORM
WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* IMPACTS...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL REDEVELOP RESULTING IN
  HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF NEW AND
  EXISTING SNOW IS ALSO EXPECTED ESPECIALLY AT MID AND UPPER
  SLOPES.

* TIMING...SNOW AND WIND DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE
  THROUGH SATURDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 6 INCHES BELOW 6000 FEET. UP TO 16
  INCHES ABOVE 6000 FEET WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS ABOVE 7000 FEET.

* WINDS...10 TO 20 MPH AT LOWER ELEVATIONS. WINDS UP TO 40 MPH AT
  TIMES FOR HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

* CONFIDENCE...MODERATE TO HIGH FOR TIMING AND AMOUNTS.

* LOCATION...THE HIGHLANDS OF EASTERN IDAHO... ESPECIALLY FROM
MACKS INN SOUTH THROUGH SODA SPRINGS.
