THURSDAY...

* TIMING...PERIODS OF SNOW WILL BEGIN BY 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON AND
  CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF AFTER MIDNIGHT. A
  PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR
  EARLY THIS EVENING.

* TOTAL SNOWFALL...3 TO 6 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IN
  THE MOUNTAINS; 2 TO 3 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...SOUTHWEST TO WEST 15 TO 25 MPH.
  VISIBILITY MAY BE REDUCED TO UNDER ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES IN
  SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SLICK WITH SNOWFALL WITH LIMITED
  VISIBILITY AT TIMES. PEOPLE PLANNING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SHOULD
  BE PREPARED FOR ADVERSE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS.
