Temperatures dipped to the lower teens and single digits over much of Western Wyoming Tuesday morning. There were a few spots below zero, notably in the higher valleys around Pinedale and Bondurant.
In Star Valley the lowest observed was 4 above in Smoot followed by 9 above in Afton. Although it was 14 above in Alpine, the nighttime winds blowing out of the Snake River Canyon up to 20 mph provided a wind chill near zero.
