...SIGNIFICANT HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW POSSIBLE FROM MONDAY
EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

.RAPIDLY INCREASING EASTERN PACIFIC MOISTURE WILL COMBINE WITH A
STRONG UPPER LEVEL JET AND LOCAL LIFT FROM THE MOUNTAINS OF
WESTERN WYOMING TO PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL BEGINNING MONDAY
NIGHT...LASTING THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING. SOMEWHAT OF A SHORT
LULL IN SNOWFALL INTENSITY WILL OCCUR BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON...BUT
WILL BE REPLACED BY MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ONCE AGAIN BY TUESDAY
NIGHT. HEAVIEST SNOW FALL ACROSS THE REGION WILL OCCUR MONDAY
NIGHT AND AGAIN TUESDAY NIGHT.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* TIMING...WHILE THERE WILL BE PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW ACROSS THE
  REGION TODAY THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY...HEAVIER SNOWFALL IS NOT
  ANTICIPATED TO BEGIN UNTIL LATER MONDAY NIGHT. THEN A LULL IN
  SNOWFALL INTENSITY IS EXPECTED BY MID DAY TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY
  ACROSS THE JACKSON VALLEY...WITH HEAVIER SNOWFALL RETURNING TO THE
  VALLEYS ONCE AGAIN TUESDAY NIGHT...AND CONTINUING INTO WEDNESDAY
  MORNING.

* SNOWFALL...STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 6 TO 12 INCHES.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS 15 TO 20 MPH WITH
  GUSTS 20 TO 30 MPH ACROSS OPEN AREAS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING SNOW WITH VISIBILITY UNDER ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

* MAIN IMPACT...TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL BE DIFFICULT DUE TO SNOW
  AND POOR VISIBILITY.
