THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

.A STRONG UPPER LEVEL JET...PLENTY OF MOISTURE AND LOCAL LIFT
FROM THE MOUNTAINS OF WESTERN WYOMING WILL PRODUCE PERIODS OF
SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW ACROSS THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST THROUGH
WEDNESDAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL IN THE TETON...WYOMING AND
SALT RIVER MOUNTAIN RANGES. WITH PLENTY OF FRESH SNOW ON THE
GROUND... BRISK WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS MAY CAUSE SIGNIFICANT
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH POSSIBLE WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT
TIMES.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 3 PM MST WEDNESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN
CANCELLED.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF SNOW ACROSS JACKSON HOLE AND STAR VALLEY
  WITH BRISK SOUTHWEST WINDS CAUSING PERIODS OF BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING SNOW THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

* SNOWFALL...STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 2 TO 6 INCHES.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS 20 TO 25 MPH WITH
  A FEW GUSTS TO 35 MPH ACROSS OPEN AREAS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING SNOW WITH VISIBILITY UNDER ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

* MAIN IMPACT...TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL BE DIFFICULT AT TIMES...DUE
  TO SNOW...BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND POOR VISIBILITY.
