THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 5 AM MST TUESDAY.
* TIMING...SNOW WILL MOVE INTO LINCOLN COUNTY THIS EVENING
INCREASING AROUND MIDNIGHT WITH AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW OVER SALT
RIVER PASS. SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW IS EXPECTED THROUGH MONDAY
NIGHT ENDING BY 5 AM MST TUESDAY MORNING.
* MAIN IMPACT...SNOWFALL OF 6 TO 12 INCHES IS EXPECTED IN THE
MOUNTAINS WITH 3 TO 6 INCHES IN THE STAR VALLEY. BRISK SOUTHWEST
WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW OVER THE
PASS. POOR DRIVING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WITH SLICK ROADS AND
POOR VISIBILITY.
